GP는 휴전협정에 근거해 DMZ 내부에서 작전을 수행하는 경계소초다. 태극기와 유엔기가 나란히 바람에 휘날리는 곳, 외부세계와 완전히 고립된 이곳에서 병사들은 두 달 동안 순환근무를 하며 실전 같은 훈련을 반복한다.
The Guard Post (GP) conducts operations inside the DMZ. Here, where the South Korean flag and the UN flag fly side-by-side completely isolated from the outside world, soldiers take guard shifts and repeatedly train in preparation for actual war.
